Discover Deutschtown is a nonprofit committed to enhancing the historic Deutschtown neighborhood of Pittsburgh. We focus on uplifting small businesses by collaborating on our common goal: a vibrant Deutschtown for everyone.
Our Story
Deutschtown is one of Pittsburgh's most historic neighborhoods — a place where the 1880s and the present coexist on the same block. Max's, an old German tavern sits down the street from ACB, one of Pittsburgh's top craft breweries. A 19th-century photography museum is across the street from a boutique flower store. New businesses open every quarter in buildings that are 150 years old.
Our job is to make sure East Ohio Street lives up to its potential, so people come to visit, and keep coming back!
